I can't believe it. When I first started this blog, Jonah was but a yearling. That was almost 10 years ago. !!!
The last time I published something on here, Maddie was about to turn one year old. It's been roughly seven years of life for me as a wife, mother, and a woman. There's been so much that's happened. So much that has changed.

2017. What a year. So many emotions.
Hearts grown. Faith coming to life. Rubber meeting the road. Ever since last year I struggled to keep up with this blog due to being so exhausted from pregnancy. I managed to write an entry at the end of the year and soon after we had the addition to our family that we had been preparing for. I could write about her so much.. but I think I will save it and challenge myself to post an ode for her first birthday coming up soon. These days, I find myself caught up in the everyday whirlwind that is meals, naps, errands and cleaning up messes at night. It’s been hard to truly have the time to process everything that has been happening. My heart has struggled to keep up. It’s never been so full of wonder and happiness...and bittersweet nostalgia. |
