Yes, it's true!
We are adding another little stinker to our family. Jonah is going to be a big brother! First, I just want to express my gratitude to God for yet another chance to have this honor. Becoming a parent has been such an adventure ever since the day we first found out we were pregnant with Jonah. We had no idea what to really expect, regardless of all of the reading and preparation we did. However, almost two years later, I can say that it is nothing like we thought and so much better than anything we could've expected. We have been wanting to add to our family for a little while now. By the end of last year/beginning of this one we had begun to try and were just waiting to see if my body was ready to respond. At the end of January is when my body went back to its normal cycle and when I knew we were actually going to have a good chance. We waited, got a teeny impatient but knew that in the end, it was going to happen when God knew was the right time for us and our family. To make the story short, this baby came to existence in mid-April and we were able to find out pretty quickly within 2 weeks which was so great! We are so excited for this new chapter and as usual, take it as a sign of the personal growth that's been happening in our lives and all of the blessings yet to come. I know it's not going to be easy (trust me, it already hasn't been for me!) but with new blessings come new challenges and they are always ours to conquer. In between my moments of tiny freak outs and, 'Oh god, how am I gonna do this?!' I am assured again and again that God knew when the right time would be for us. My peace is built on that. That is all I really have to say. There's a lot more but this is the gist of it all. As as far as whether we want a girl or another boy, we both are really happy with whatever this baby already is. Again, just the chance to be able to be pregnant and be a momma again is more than enough for me! I don't take it for granted! God is faithful and good and that is already more than I will ever need in this life. I'm super excited to see how this little baby lamb grows and develops in these next few months. I can't wait to meet him/her and see the sort of person they will be!
